Renault‘s Revoz plant in Slovenia has now resumed operations after disruption caused by industrial action at a French supplier.

The plant has now received shipments of components from Rencast.

Revoz suspended production on April 9 due to a lack of steering columns produced by Rencast.

Revoz produced 198,096 cars in 2008, slightly down from its record-high output of 200,162 cars a year earlier. Two-thirds of production is accounted for by the Twingo, with the other third being Clio II.

In March Renault said it will move excess production of its Clio II model from Revoz’s plant in Novo Mesto to Flins, in France, to enable Novo Mesto to assemble more Twingos.
