General Motors (GM) will suspend US production of Chevrolet Cruze models for a week to avoid oversupply.
The Lordstown, Ohio, plant will stop production for the week of 28 November Chris Lee, a GM spokesman, told Bloomberg News.
“We don’t want to overproduce,” Lee added. “Those days are gone from a GM standpoint. We’re just keeping it in control and we’ll ramp it back up and be prepared for a strong start after the first of the year.”
