Yuasa Battery Europe has acquired Tungstone, Oldham and Crompton battery products and will continue to manufacture and market them under their established brand names following Tungstone Battery’s decision to close its Market Harborough manufacturing site.

“It was important for motor factors not to lose these important and instantly recognisable brands,” said Yuasa Battery Europe managing director Marcus Heather.
“Yuasa has the ability to put manufacturing and marketing resources behind these brands to ensure they maintain their loyal following.”
