Finnish truck maker Sisu is reportedly in financial difficulties after the Lithuanian government has said it cannot pay for trucks it has ordered.
The Lithuanian government had ordered the trucks for its military forces according to Finnish business daily Kauppalehti.
Sisu Auto is now under threat unless the Finnish government comes to its aid, the report said.
Manager Olof Elenius told the paper: “We have much money tied up in this project, millions, and if the Lithuanian state is unable to pay us we have to get assistance elsewhere.”
Sisu Auto’s financial state was poor even before, but the company has a solution on the horizon, the paper added.
