Architecture and Engineering Occupations drive auto industry hiring activity

Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Architecture and Engineering Occupations, which accounted for 11% of the total new job postings in Q2 2024 and were down by 76% year-on-year. Second highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which accounted for 8% and drop by 39% year-on-year, and third highest were Business and Financial Operations Occupations, which were 5% of the new job postings and 56% lower year-on-year.

Top five companies in auto industry accounted for 41% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by Nissan Motor with 493, followed by Forvia with 359, while the highest increase was at Continental at 11%.
