
Regulators approve VW’s Europcar offer
VW Group is a step closer to securing acquisition of French car rental giant it once owned.
ByVW is still dealing with the diesel crisis fall out. While not over, the worst would appear to be in the past and the company is refocusing on EVs. Three German, two Chinese and one US factory will be converted to EV production for the Volkswagen brand alone, with parallel EV investment and production at Audi, Skoda and Porsche. The emphasis on SUVs and crossovers will be maintained and in LCVs especially VW will look to develop further with Ford.
