Woodbridge and Yanfeng have announced a new joint venture taking effect on 24 December 2018.

This new partnership, called Yanfeng Woodbridge Lightweight Composites, strengthens both companies as top automotive suppliers in the manufacturing and selling of particle foam. This collaboration will primarily consist of the production of EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) as well as other bead foam products, for automotive product applications, including automotive seat structures, luggage compartments, steering wheels, door panels, bumpers and other energy absorbing components, automotive packaging and dunnage.

The first manufacturing facility will be located in Jintan, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China due to start production in the middle of 2019, servicing several significant automakers and automotive suppliers.
