Wescast Industries Inc. (NASDAQ:WCST.TSE:WCS.A.) was honoured with two Gold Awards from DaimlerChrysler for outstanding performance at two of its manufacturing facilities in Wingham, Ontario.
The gold awards were achieved for exceeding pre-determined quality and delivery targets established by DaimlerChrysler earlier in the year. Wescast received two of the five gold awards presented in the Casting & Forging areas for 1999.
