Visteon Corporation has named Lorie Buckingham as vice president and chief information officer, effective immediately and reporting to president and COO Michael Johnston.

Buckingham joined Visteon in 2000 and was director of global software solutions. Prior to that she helped found Spinnaker Solutions, a Chicago-based information technology company. She has also worked for Union Carbide as senior director of enterprise information technology.
