The company’s attractive employee benefits program provides employees and their dependents with a comprehensive array of support options, while reinforcing its commitment to employee development, partnership and flexibility.

Innovative Subaru employee benefits that were recently formalized include:

— Catastrophic Leave Program. In the event an employee must take an
unpaid leave of absence due to serious illness or if he/she must care
for another family member, Subaru employees may donate vacation time
to the employee in need.
— Adoption Assistance Program. Subaru will reimburse an employee up to
$5,000 for adoption-related expenses such as adoption agency and
attorney fees. Up to $6,000 may be reimbursed to employees with an
adopted child with special needs. Some or all reimbursements may be
exempt from federal taxes (subject to income limitations).
— Volunteer Opportunities. Subaru offers employees a variety of
volunteer opportunities, including release time for company-sponsored
activities. Release time activities include tutoring, speaking
engagements at local schools, technical assistance to non-profits and
a variety of opportunities benefiting children.
— Domestic Partner Benefits. The Subaru Domestic Partner Benefit
Program includes comprehensive medical and dental coverage for
domestic partners of eligible employees.

Subaru also offers tuition reimbursement, a subsidized vehicle lease program for all eligible employees and an annual bonus program. Additional benefits include flextime, flexible spending accounts as well as retirement and pension plans. Subaru promotes a friendly work environment with a business casual dress code, casual day on Fridays and flexible summer hours.
