Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) and Caterpillar Logistics Services have entered into an agreement to provide the distribution of service-parts and accessories to Mazda dealerships in the United States and Canada.

The multi-year service-parts logistics agreement calls for Cat Logistics to assume operations of MNAO’s five US and one Canadian distribution centres.

Mazda’s North American dealers will continue to sell and support Mazda products through existing sales and service channels. Cat Logistics will provide a highly integrated array of logistics services to support these operations and reduce Mazda’s overall logistics costs. Services provided include warehousing, industry-leading logistics information systems and inventory management — from forecasting to order fulfilment.
