The California Fuel Cell Partnership officially opened its new fuel cell vehicle facility Wednesday (01/11/00).

Journalists from around the world were on hand for the festivities, which featured the debut of fuel cell electric vehicles from seven of the world’s top automotive manufacturers.

The 55,000 square foot facility houses fuel cell cars and a hydrogen fueling station and will serve as a headquarters for the Partnership’s efforts in the area of fuel cell technology.

The partnership, which began in April 1999, is made up of manufacturers, energy providers, fuel cell companies and government agencies.
