Dana Corporation has named Michael Burns, its recently appointed chief executive and president, to the additional post of chairman.

According to Reuters, Burns, the former head of General Motors’ European operations, was named CEO and president of the Toledo, Ohio-based parts supplier on March 1, succeeding Joe Magliochetti, who was chairman and CEO until his death last September.
