Visteon Corporation has ended discussions regarding the possible sale of certain driveline assets in Europe and South America to GKN, the former Ford parts operation said in a terse statement that gave no other details.

“Visteon continues to explore other alternatives for these assets as it restructures its businesses as part of the company’s three-year improvement plan,” the statement added.
