Automotive motor and fan maker Ebm-Papst has opened a second US technical consultancy and sales operation called Ebm-Papst Automotive & Drives (EPAD USA) in Dearborn, Michigan.

Germany-based Ebm-Papst group specialises in air technology and drive engineering in a wide variety of industries with automotive a primary market. Its fan components are used in air conditioning, electronics cooling and seat ventilation while its motors are used as electronic servo drives.
