Detroit Diesel Corporation (DDC) – a subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler – is launching a new service technician programme called G2 to provide faster service and improved quality for customers.

Company president and CEO Carsten Reinhardt said: “We understand that those who work on engines need better tools and training as each generation of engines becomes increasing complex. The new programme strengthens technician training, certification and recognition in an effort to help improve customer satisfaction, sales and profits.”

The G2 expert service network programme is focusing on training, certification, continuous improvement and recognition.
