Delphi is reported to be selling its global steering and halfshaft business to private equity group Steering Solutions, a unit of Platinum Equity LLC.

According to the Associated Press (AP), the company also said it sealed a “transaction facilitation agreement” with General Motors that foresees GM making certain commitments to Delphi in connection with the sale.
Specifics of the agreements were not disclosed.
