A TV advert which features a young boy drawing a series of blurred objects before being driven off in a car was yesterday criticised for using speed to promote a product.
Advertisers were forced to pull the Volvo S40 T4 Saloon commercial after 15 viewers complained about its depiction of a schoolboy who draws a blurred tree, house and cow while his classmates choose more static objects.
The complaints have been upheld by the Independent Television Commission (ITC).
