Superior Industries International is considering shutting down its suspension components business in order to focus on aluminum wheel supply, the Reuters news agency said.

The company, a supplier of aluminum wheels and other automotive components, reportedly said in a statement it expects to record a ‘charge’ in the 2005 fourth quarter in connection with the disposal of assets.
