Workers at British sports car firm TVR have just won their battle for union recognition according to the Daily Mirror.

The 300 workers at the Blackpool outfit, reportedly just bought by 24-year-old Russian tycoon Nikolai Smolenski for an estimated £15million, will now have the Transport & General Workers Union on their side.

According to the paper, the T&G said it had to fight every step of the way for the recognition deal, and only won after it went to the government’s Central Arbitration Committee.
