BMW (GB) has attracted double the expected number of initial orders for new limited edition versions of the Mini.
UK buyers have ordered 1,600 cars since launch in September.
The three new models follow the usual limited edition formula – unique paint and trim and various optional extras included for less than adding the items individually to a standard model.
Mini UK general manager Andy Hearn said: “As we’ve seen over the last four years, any new product from Mini generates impressive levels of interest at the dealerships.”
