TTTEch Automotive says it has worked with Infineon to develop a central platform control unit, ‘zFAS’ integrating functionalities of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) in cooperation with Audi.
The supplier adds the ECU also enables fusion of sensor data, while microcontrollers from Infineon Technologies safeguard computing performance and safety.
ZFAS enables new functions such as piloted driving on congested highways and piloted parking, while requirements concerning functional safety, connectivity and computing capacity have reached new levels.
“We are delighted to provide our Aurix microcontrollers as the centrepiece for the future-proof platform solution zFAS,” said Infineon’s Thomas Böhm, responsible for Autonomous Driving MCUs.
