Kia Motors is targeting sales of 30,000 cars in the UK this year, up 42% compared with 21,177 units it sold last year.

According to Dow Jones, Kia Motors expects heightened brand image and the introduction of its new Picanto minicar this year will boost sales.
The report said Kia first exported its vehicles to the UK in 1991 and its accumulated sales in the country reached 100,000 units this month.
