Kia Motors’ global sales figures jumped 16.3% in September 217,736 units, posting strong double digit year-on-year sales increases in many of its major sales regions.

China was up 45.9% to 46,170 units, there was a 20.6% rise in North America to 41,997 and Europe also rose 20.6%  to 47,256. September sales in Kia’s home market grew year on year by 4.4% to 41,952.

 Through the first nine months of this year, Kia’s global sales have increased by 18.2% year-on-year to reach 1,827,622 units. North America has experienced the highest gain to date, up 35% to 419,075. There has also been growth in China, up 27.1% 321,777 units, 18.9% in Europe, 349,778 while sales in South Koreas have risen 4.4% to 367,614.
