Valeo is supplying Renault’s new Logan sedan with eight product lines, of which the wiring, heating and air conditioning systems are manufactured in Romania on the Dacia production site.

Valeo took over the wiring business in Mioveni from Dacia in 2002 after the company was bought by Renault. At the end of 2003, onsite assembly of heating and air-conditioning units was introduced and Valeo now employs 350 people in these two facilities.

The Valeo lighting and vehicle access systems are produced under license in Romania. Valeo also supplies radiators, condensers, top column modules, switches, alternators and clutches from other sites in Europe.
