According to Reuters, the Portuguese Auto-Dealers Association (ACAP) said 19,890 new cars, including commercial vans and all-terrain vehicles, were registered in November 2002, down 27.2% compared with the 27,329 units registered in November 2001.

For the 11 months to the end of November, 285,525 vehicles were sold, down 12% on the same period in 2001, the report said.
