The Polish News Bulletin reports that there is a ‘strong indication’ that Bosch will officially announce the construction of a new engine parts factory in Wroclaw in the near future, probably in May.

The factory, which will be located next to Bosch’s existing facility currently used to produce braking systems, will manufacture components used in diesel engines, according to the report.

Preliminary plans call for Bosch moving up to 30 percent of its diesel engine manufacturing to Poland, and if everything goes as planned, the plant will be fully operational in 2007.
