Motor vehicle sales in February fell 13% to 6,007 units from 6,882 a year earlier, the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines and the Truck Manufacturers Association said in a joint report cited by AFX Asia.


Sales in the first two months of the year rose 3% to 13,746 units from 13,338 in the same period last year.


As in the previous month, Toyota Motors Philippines led sales in February with 2,751 units sold, followed by Mitsubishi Motors Philippines with 642 units and Honda Cars Philippines with 581 units.
