Mitsubishi Motors launched its Outlander PHEV at the Moscow International Automobile Salon 2014 on Wednesday ahead of the Russian sales start in September.
It also unveiled two concept models – the GC-PHEV and XR-PHEV – as part of a 12 vehicle display at the show which opens to the public from 28 August until 7 September.
At a media briefing, Tetsuro Aikawa, MMC president and COO, emphasised the significance of the Russian market: “Like the title of our New Stage 2016 business plan, we are working toward a ‘new stage of growth’ and Russia is one the most important markets in achieving the business plan’s goals.”
