Sales of Toyota’s new Kluger V SUV reached 4,300 vehicles in the model’s first month on the Japanese market, double the forecast figure.
Toyota says that, because the model combines SUV ruggedness with passenger car performance, buyers have traded-in a wide variety of vehicles ranging from RVs to sedans. Most Kluger V owners are in their 20s and 30s.
