Truckmaker Isuzu Motors has revised its first half fiscal 2012 forecast announced on 22 June 2011.

It previously forecast net sales of JPY700bn (US$8.98bn), operating income of JPY 30bn and net income of JPY23bn.

The revised forecast lowered expected net sales 6% to JPY658bn but boosted operating income 43.3% to JPY 43bn and net income 43.5% to JPY33bn.

Isuzu will announce its fiscal 2012 (1 April, 2011-31 March, 2012) full year forecast on 8 November along with actual first half results.
