Kyodo News reports that Honda has obtained a license from the US government to market its new fuel-cell vehicle in the United States. Honda plans to sell the vehicle, which is equipped with a cold-resistant fuel-cell stack, in the second half of this year, the company said.
Fuel efficiency of the new vehicle will improve by about 20 percent from that of existing Honda cars equipped with fuel cells, the report said.
