Indonesian import agency PT Sudeco Utama and Korea’s Chonbuk Corp. are reported
to have signed a memorandum of understanding to export commercial cars manufactured
by Daewoo Motors, say Asian auto-news sources (30/11/00).

According to Auto-Asia online, the vehicles -numbering 20,000 -will be shipped
between 2001 and 2003, with Indonesia receiving 8,000 units in the initial year.

It is however unclear as to whether Daewoo will still be a player within the
auto-industry by that time, says the internet portal.
