Wabco has opened a new application engineering centre in Pune, India to serve Tata Motors.
The new centre, Wabco’s second in India, will allow engineers to work with the truck maker to jointly develop parts for a broad range of vehicle platforms.
There will be up to 15 engineers at the centre by the end of 2015 working on system design, application engineering and project management support.
“We value Wabco’s outstanding support in partnering with us on joint product development projects,” said AK Jindal, head of engineering for commercial vehicles at Tata Motors.
