Hungarian car and truck parts maker Raba expects 2009 sales revenues to exceed 40bn forints (US$194.3m) and projected that earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) would be between 3bn and 5bn forints.
The lower end of Raba’s EBITDA forecast would be achieved if the Hungarian forint firmed to 265 versus the euro and 185 against the US dollar, the company said in a statement cited by Reuters on Wednesday.
The upper end would be reached if foreign exchange rates and raw material prices remained at the levels recorded in the first quarter, the supplier said.
