Volkswagen is offering ‘free’ air conditioning across its new Golf range in Germany until the end of September.
The company has also reduced the price of the fully-automatic two-zone air conditioner control option in a promotion said to be a celebration of the Golf model line’s 30th birthday.
The claimed customer saving for both systems is €1,225.
Both VW and rival Opel have been in the news recently for already offering incentives on important new mainstream models – the Golf was launched in Germany in October and the rival Astra is not yet on sale.
