The experts committee, which is to decide whether Germany should grant aid to carmaker Opel or not, is expected to announce a preliminary decision on the issue on Monday, a media report said on Friday.
However, the eight independent experts should cast an unanimous vote, and they still share different opinions, Financial Times Deutschland noted.
Opel and its US owner General Motors demanded EUR1.8bn in aid from European governments with Opel plants. Germany is expected to contribute about EUR1bn. Opel workers will support their company with EUR1.1bn and General Motors will spend EUR1.9bn to restructure its subsidiary.
