Dow Jones reports that DC’s board member responsible for commercial vehicles has said at the IAA truck show in Hanover that DC’s plans for Japanese partner Mitsubishi Motor Co.’s truck-and-bus arm Fuso aren’t yet finalised but should be in the next few weeks.

The report added that sources have told Dow Jones that DC is talking with Mitsubishi Motors (MMC) about separating Fuso from the rest of the company.

DaimlerChrysler would then take a minority stake in the new company, the people familiar with the situation have said.

DaimlerChrysler’s supervisory board meets on September 19.
