BMW achieved a 14.6% increase in group sales to 116,391 vehicles in April, helped by continuing buoyant demand for the core BMW brand.
Spring weather helped drive sales of cabrio models like the Z4 Roadster, while resurgent markets in the United States helped account for a 62% rise in volume of the top-line 7 series last month, the automaker told Reuters.
The April increase was the second-fastest monthly growth rate this year, exceeded only by the 16.6% gain in January.
