Volkswagen AG will cut production of its super luxury Bentley brand to between 500 and 750 units a year in stages from next year compared with 800 this year, Bentley head Franz-Josef Paefgen said in an interview with Financial Times Deutschland.
“We will always be producing less than the demand,” he reportedly said, adding this will also help stabilise prices in the used-car segment.
Bentley production last year was over 1,000 cars, he said, according to the newspaper.
