The
two most popular AMG models

Sales of sporty AMG-fettled Mercedes-Benz cars leapt 50% in 2000, Bloomberg News
reported.

Sales rose to DM600 million ($US289 million) and volume doubled to 11,500 vehicles
while Daimler-Chrysler invested 44 million marks to boost capacity, Bloomberg

and wheels and sporty body and interior trim and can cost up to three times
as much as a base model. Bloomberg reported that the most popular models are
the E-class sedan and M-class SUV.
