General Motors expects sales of Chevrolet brand vehicles to grow at a double-digit percentage rate in Europe this year, a top GM official told Reuters on Tuesday.

Chevrolet vehicle sales grew by 37% in Western Europe last year and tripled in the growing Eastern European market, Fritz Henderson, chairman of GM Europe, reportedly told a news conference at the Geneva show.

Asked if Chevrolet would have double-digit sales growth in Europe this year, Henderson reportedly said: “I think we’re going to see that. We’d have to slow down a lot in order not to see that.”
