Valeo has inked a technological cooperation agreement with Peiker, a supplier of on-board telematics and mobile connectivity solutions.
The company says the agreement will enable Valeo to broaden its range of automotive geolocation and mobile connectivity solutions.
“The partners’ shared objective is to benefit mutually from their respective capabilities, particularly in R&D, to create innovative products compatible with forthcoming LTE Advanced mobile (4G+) broadband services and beyond,” said a Valeo statement.
“Valeo is developing a range of high-technology systems using ultrasonic sensors, radar, cameras, laser scanners and software to make the car of the future more energy-efficient, safer and more intuitive to drive.”
