General Motors’ Hummer brand will add a performance series, called Alpha, to its model line to reinforce its off-road capabilities.
The Alpha series will start with the H1 model, launching in the middle of 2005, with a 6.6-litre Duramax turbo-diesel engine developing 300hp and couple to an Allison heavy-duty transmission.
