Strong
Brazilian demand for new cars led to 8,500 workers at the General Motors São
Caetano plant, in São Paulo state, being asked to work last Saturday and
they’ll be clocking on again this coming Saturday, April 28, writes Rogério
Louro Alves.

The workers produce around an extra 700 vehicles for every Saturday worked.

The plant produces the previous-generation Opel-designed Corsa as well as the
Astra and Vectra.
