Volkswagen unit Skoda Auto boosted first-half operating profit 52.6% year on year to 8.43bn crowns ($US378.9m), the company said on Wednesday.
Sales rose 7.3% to 104.41bn crowns and net profit jumped 62.3% to 6.41bn, Reuters reported.
Skoda is the biggest Czech company by sales and the central European country’s biggest exporter, the report noted.
