CHINA: TRW/FAW venture opens plant to supply BB-DC
TRW FAWER Automobile Safety Systems (Changchun) Co Ltd (TFASS) has said it has established a manufacturing plant in Beijing to produce chassis modules for Beijing Benz-DaimlerChrysler Automotive Co Ltd (BBDC).
TRW FAWER Automobile Safety Systems (Changchun) Co Ltd (TFASS) has said it has established a manufacturing plant in Beijing to produce chassis modules for Beijing Benz-DaimlerChrysler Automotive Co Ltd (BBDC).
The company, a joint venture between TRW Automotive and China’s FAW, will initially supply assemblies for the Chrysler 300C and another upcoming car platform.
The new facility is located near BBDC’s assembly plant in southwest Beijing.
