Tesla Motors intends to localise the production of EVs in China over the next three years.
Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla Motors, told Xinhua: “We have a strong long term commitment to China and we tend to establish both local production and local engineering in China.”
Musk said localisation of production in Europe and China was “just the sensible, logical thing.”
