Chery Automobile, telematics firm Pateo Corp and Internet car service platform Yongche Inc are to establish a joint venture to build fully electric ‘smart’ cars for a new sharing service in China.
China Daily reported that the partners are claiming the future products would be “intelligent, connected, shared and fully electric”.

The smart cars will be designed to interact with the environment, the report said, using information from surrounding traffic conditions and react or provide information to the driver to make informed decisions.
