First-quarter sales of Toyota’s luxury Lexus brand in Europe fell 14% to 5,739 units. March sales were off 6% to 3,148 units.

Though it achieved record European sales in March, with 107,839 units delivered, up 2% compared to March 2004, Toyota’s overall first quarter sales fell 1% to 258,016 units, in an overall market down 3.3%.
